Jeanetta Britt is a bestselling author who graduated with honors from Fisk University and The University of Michigan. Her passion for writing action-packed Christian Fiction novels—filled with lots of juicy drama and suspense—as well as, Gospel poetry, surfaced several decades ago and has grown steadily since that time. “While being swept up in the story,” Jeanetta says, “I want my readers to feel the love of Jesus and find refuge in Him…like I did.”

After completing a rewarding professional career in public administration in Dallas, Texas, Jeanetta returned to her native Alabama to write and to live. Her southern roots are reflected in her strong imagery; memorable characters; and delightfully witty storytelling style. She is a sought-after inspirational speaker, by youth and adults alike, with nine novels and seven books of poetry to her credit.

Jeanetta is also an avid gardener, and she founded Twelve Stones CDC—a non-profit organization that operates two community gardens in rural Alabama. “We provide free, fresh food for our community and an opportunity for our youth and senior citizens to form vital intergenerational bonds and to get some free exercise, companionship, and sunshine, too,” she says, “No rules—just love!”
